Courtesy of Matt Camp, I give you the link to another WM3 board... there are a lot of people on this board who feel strongly that they are guilty. And they are not above name calling and such. So, not the best environment, but I thought it was a good thing to post for everyone.

The issue of guilt really isn't the issue for me, it's how badly they were fucked out of their basic rights. As far as I'm concerned that issue immediately trumps any guilt argument.

Guilty or not, everyone deserves a fair day in court.


Oh, and Imdb boards suck ass.

Yeah, I don't know if you went over there or not, but that's the point I was making. But the people over there who believe they're guilty wouldn't listen to anything unless it was me agreeing they were guilty. Anything else was a ridiculous attempt to prove their innocence. I was trying to be rational. This guy over there has serious issues with the documentaries. So, I thought I'd try to come at it from a POV he could respect and understand and only use info from the court documents, not anything I had heard elsewhere. Still wasn't good enough.

And this chick was acting like "yeah, nice try, but you haven't convinced me." She actually said "so, keep it coming." What? I was just stating my beliefs based on the court documents. I wasn't trying to change anyone's opinions. I was just trying to have a discussion. But they're so closed off to hearing anything that goes against their beliefs.

The only reason I posted was because there is a chick over there who believes in the innocence of the WM3. She makes wonderful, well-informed points, but those two jackasses crap all over her. I knew how it must've felt being alone to defend her views with those jackasses attacking her. So, I had to come in. My mistake was thinking they could be objective and rational.

Personally, I haven't done any examination of the actual evidence to have a legitimate stance on the guilt or innocence of the WM3, but in my humble opinion (like Anil's), a little actual justice isn't too much to ask for.

The Imdb boards are the lowest of internet message boards. The make Newsarama look like the Algonquin fucking round table.
It’s where all trolls go to die after they've been kicked out of all the other boards. Proper grammar, objectivity, basic courtesy, simple logic, and (perhaps most importantly) like of movies are rare concepts there.
